How to keep joy in your life all year long Life - and your relationships - are much more fulfilling when you're actually there to enjoy them! Rate your favorite. Here are 4 ways to keep your joy. 1. Renew your Mind. One of the greatest battlefields in every person is their mind. In fact, one of the most common strategies of the enemy is to infect your mind with negative, sinful, and critical thoughts. Scripture recognizes this when it admonishes us to.

Joy is not simply a feeling of happiness. It is the presence of peace and contentment that has the power to sustain us even when our lives are challenging and stressful. Joy is something you create by intentionally doing things that bring pleasure, peace, or purpose to our lives. Here are 15 things—some simple, some more elaborate—you can do to create joy in your life. These are all good reasons to experience more joy in our life. Here are seven ways to do it. 1. Undertake a challenging activity with a commitment to mastering it. Think of a project you've wanted to accomplish, whether it's creating a small flower garden in your yard, learning how to give your car a tuneup, or mastering the tango.

To hear that joy is not optional lands on some ears with promise and hope. If joy is essential, then it must mean that joy is possible. In a world of sin and suffering, mess and misery, it is good news to hear that joy is possible. For one, joy is commanded all over the Bible.   "The Holy Spirit has exhorted the faithful to continue clapping their hands for joy until the advent of the promised Redeemer," wrote John Calvin in a comment on Psalm Paul would heartily concur! Writing from a prison cell from which he had no certain knowledge of escaping other than to his execution, joy is what came to mind. Joy is what the epistle to the Philippians is all about.
